The Course


The retail industry is a key sector of Singapore's vibrant economy. This course will train you exclusively in the processes, technologies and trends of retail management. The Course

Customer Relationship Management



The Course

Customer relationship management (CRM) is a widely-implemented strategy for managing a company’s interactions with customers, clients and sales prospects. It involves using technology to organize, automate, and synchronize business processes—principally sales activities, but also those for marketing, customer service, and technical support. The overall goals are to find, attract, and win new clients, nurture and retain those the company already has, entice former clients back into the fold, and reduce the costs of marketing and client service. Customer relationship management describes a company-wide business strategy including customer-interface departments as well as other departments.

Teaching Enterprise Programme (TEP)






TEP is a program which enable students apply what they have learnt in real business environment. It allows the students to gain hands on experience in Business Retailing. Students will be attached to the various companies for 11 weeks. TEP enables students to building customer relationship with real life customers; assist them in actual Sales, Customer Service, Merchandising, Managing Sales Activities, Promoting, Advertising, Consolidating Report and Inventory Management. With the knowledge and experience gained at the end of the programme, student should be able to provide excellent Customer Service in future. These programmes could also be reflected in the resume when student aim to look for a part-time/ full-time job in the near future.

Industrial Placement Programme (IPP)







In the IPP, students will be attached to public and private sector organisations. Likewise TEP, students are to apply what they have learnt in the classrooms and experiences in their TEP to this attachment. IPP is designed to enhance entrepreneurship development of our students. Students are given the opportunity to be in the heart of an actual business environment. Students may get the chance to attend a real life company’s meeting involving the various department and top management. In addition, they will be given the opportunity to voice out suggestions during the meetings.


The Supervisors or Team Leaders will access the progress of the students. This Programme would allow students to further improve their communication skills and teamwork, become more efficient in their work and learn problem solving. Also, they will possess technical skills such as customer service and people skill, detail oriented, being more flexible and adaptable, and leadership skills.


Immersion Trips






The world is our classroom. The overseas immersion programme provides students with opportunities to expand cultural and business knowledge with a global mindset. Students will be given the opportunity to go behind the scenes of an actual Business in the country they visit. Some of the business sectors include Hotels, World Expo and well-known retail stores. Some of the countries include Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
